Risks & headwinds

On a consolidated basis, we did not achieve 100% due to challenges related to the availability of viable recycled content – strongly dependent on local recycling chains – and the dynamic market conditions, especially in the glass and PET packaging industries; and (iv) climate action : the Company reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across Scopes 1, 2 and 3, per hectoliter of production, by 25.8%, achieving the commitment to reduce emissions intensity of 25%.

The Company also continued to make improvements in the energy transition, achieving 97.5% of electricity arising from renewable sources across all operations –the difference in relation to the commitment to the 100% target is due to structural and regulatory challenges in one of the countries where we operate.
